    John , an accomplished writer, also has over 200 original songs, some co-written with Musician Bill Lewis.

    John Battles has been performing professionally in South Florida for over eighteen years. One of the founding members of the Back Alley Band, he has also performed with Night Magic, Shady Brook and Battles & Lewis, among others. He has appeared at seven Sunfests. As a single act he is currently a regular performer at Roundin' Third, M'R Ducks, and the VIP Lounge at Mars Music Amphitheater.

    Considered one of the most versatile vocalists in the area, he never fails to please an audience and often plays to capacity crowds. Songs from his upcoming CD, Heart's Unstrung, have already received wide acclaim and are often requested at his shows. His monthly mailings reach over three hundred fans which provides a distinct advantage for nightclubs and promoters of special events.

    Toys for Tots, The Muscular Dystrophy Association, United Cerebral Palsy, The American Red Cross and the American Heart Association are just some of the charities that he has donated his time to.
